Welcome to the next chapter in Cloudica’s story

It was exactly five years ago when Adam, Krzysztof, and Przemek decided that the time was right to take on the world with their own company. By then, all three already had around 15 years of experience in the IT industry, and while they realized that the road ahead was going to be tough, they didn’t realize exactly how challenging the next 60 months would be.

Baptism of fire

Cloudica was immediately thrown into the deep end from day one. The first customer needed immediate assistance after his company’s servers were attacked by a ransomware virus. But the team’s quick response and experience meant that very little data was lost, and the client didn’t have to pay the seven-figure ransom requested by the hackers.

Over the years, Cloudica continued to grow. Companies realized that cloud computing would be an essential part of their business and invested in the solutions offered by Cloudica. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, the team also based its services on industry-leading solutions with a global user base.

The second quarter of 2022 saw a surge in demand for Cloudica’s services as companies all over the country scrambled for ways to quickly adapt to a new reality – complete remote work. Very soon, businesses started resigning from office leases, committing to the remote model indefinitely. Cloudica’s expertise in the field, built over the previous years, was indispensable to building its reputation as a reliable partner in the IT space.

Our values run deep

As part of the five-year celebrations, Cloudica is rolling out a new website, and slogan (“Be Sure of IT”).

However, anchoring it all, are a set of CORE values that will guide us through the next phase of growth.

These are:

Conscientiousness: We take great pride in our work and stand behind it 100%. Every step of the process is well planned and based on years of experience.

Openness: Nothing is set in stone. We are flexible with how we approach different tasks, but always base our approach on industry best practices

Reliability: We put great emphasis on being strong partners. That is why clients return for more contracts and we enjoy low employee turnover.

Expertise: By investing in knowledge, we can keep ahead of the curve in the fast-paced IT environment. No job is too big or too small.

People at the core

Over the years, our company has grown. And we measure that growth not only through clients and revenues but also through the number of talented people we have been able to take on board.

We have expanded our staff to include a marketing team, as well as an HR and recruitment department. These specialists will help us grow in ways that we couldn’t before. By focusing on the areas of our expertise, we hope to grow in ways that have been impossible up to now.

Looking into the future

As we boldly enter the next phase for our company, we welcome the coming years and unknown challenges ahead and trust that we will continue to grow together, while constantly providing reliable and expert services to all our clients, present and future.

Once the above questions have been answered, a disaster recovery and backup readiness index can be calculated based on the following scale:

  • Level 1: Inadequate – The organization has significant gaps in its disaster recovery and backup posture.
  • Level 2: Developing – The organization has some disaster recovery and backup processes in place, but significant improvements are needed.
  • Level 3: Mature – The organization has a mature disaster recovery and backup posture, but there is room for improvement.
  • Level 4: Robust – The organization has a strong disaster recovery and backup posture and is well-prepared to address potential disruptions.
  • Level 5: Exceptional – The organization has a comprehensive and mature approach to disaster recovery and backup.

The disaster recovery and backup readiness index can be calculated by assigning a score of 1-5 to each question based on the level of readiness demonstrated. The scores are then averaged across all questions in each category to determine the readiness level for that category. The overall disaster recovery and backup readiness index is calculated by averaging the readiness levels across all categories.

Level 1: Basic
You have minimal cybersecurity processes in place and face a high risk of cyberattacks. Immediate attention and significant improvements are necessary to enhance your security posture.

Level 2: Developing
You have some cybersecurity processes in place but require substantial improvements to reach a mature state. You should focus on strengthening your policies, procedures, and security controls.

Level 3: Mature
You have a solid cybersecurity posture, but there is still room for improvement. You should continue enhancing your processes, monitoring capabilities, and incident response practices.

Level 4: Advanced
You have a strong cybersecurity posture and are well-prepared to address potential threats. However, you should remain proactive and stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies to maintain your advanced level of security.

Level 5: Leading
You have a comprehensive and mature approach to cybersecurity. You are a leader in cybersecurity best practices and continually innovate to stay ahead of evolving threats.
